SB opening range chart
This chart answers a narrower question than the four before it: if you never limp, which hands do you raise from the small blind? Strong small-blind strategies limp a great deal, and this chart does not model limping at all, so treat it as a raise-or-fold simplification rather than a complete small-blind strategy. On that assumption SB opens 586 hands, 44.2%, barely wider than the button. Every hand BTN opens still opens from SB, and SB adds only 32s, 53s and K9o. Only one player is left to act, which argues for opening wider, but you are out of position for every street after this one, which argues back. The two nearly cancel.
SB opens 44.2% of hands (586 of 1326 combos).
