- Are these poker quizzes really free?
- Yes. The nuts, pot odds, and hand rankings quizzes have no sign-in and no limit on replays. They are separate from the ranked Trainer, which is a paid subscription with a 14-day free trial.
- Is there a free equity, ICM, or range quiz?
- Not a standalone one yet. Those concepts are covered by graded puzzles in the ranked Trainer instead, which this page links to honestly rather than pretending a free quiz exists for them.
- Do quiz scores count towards the leaderboard?
- No. The leaderboard tracks ratings from ranked Trainer puzzles, not from these free quizzes. Quiz scores reset each time you play and are not saved.
- Do I need an account to take a quiz?
- No. Every quiz on this page runs entirely in your browser with no sign-in.
- How is the hand rankings quiz different from the nuts quiz?
- The hand rankings quiz shows one five-card hand and asks you to name its category (pair, flush, and so on). The nuts quiz shows a board and asks which hand is the best possible one on it, a harder, range-reading skill.
- Can I retake a quiz?
- Yes, every quiz here has a "Play again" option with no limit on attempts.
- What is the pot odds quiz testing?
- It gives you a pot size and a bet to call, and asks for the equity you need to break even: the same calculation the Pot Odds Calculator does, but from memory.
- Where do I learn the concept before taking a quiz?
- Each quiz links to a matching lesson: hand reading, pot odds, or hand rankings. The Poker Math Trainer also has a cheat sheet covering the underlying formulas.
