The first folds appear, and they are the hands you would expect: the worst unsuited, unconnected holdings, 72o and its neighbours. Roughly one hand in nine is now a fold. The bigger change is on the other side of the table, where the big blind has gone from calling everything to folding a quarter of its hands. That gap between the two ranges is what fold equity is, and at four big blinds it has only just opened.
