Barrel
A bet made on a second or later street that continues pressure applied on an earlier one, most often as a bluff or semi-bluff that keeps firing after the flop.
A single continuation bet on the flop is not yet a barrel; the term describes the pattern of firing again on the turn, and often the river too, to keep pressure on hands that could not continue calling. A range that barrels multiple streets is telling a story, real strength that wants to keep building the pot, or a bluff that keeps betting because folding out the rest of the field is its only route to winning. Reading whether a barrel is credible depends on the same range-reading skills used everywhere else: what hands would actually keep betting three streets in a row on this exact runout.
