Push/fold
The short-stack strategy, typically under about 15 big blinds, where every decision collapses to two options: shove all in, or fold.
A small raise when short commits a meaningful chunk of the stack without folding anyone out, so it invites a shove and a call with no room left to manoeuvre. Going all in fixes both problems: it can win the pot outright by taking the blinds and antes uncontested, and it keeps full equity when called, with no flop left to be outplayed on. Every stack depth has a Nash-equilibrium threshold for shoving and calling, wide for the shover, tighter for the caller, since only the shover has fold equity.
