MP opening range chart

MP opens 228 hands, 17.2%, a modest widening from UTG's 13.3% because one fewer player is left to act. Every hand UTG opens still opens from MP, and MP adds the rest of the suited aces down to A2s, the suited hands Q9s, T8s and 87s, and two more offsuit broadways: JTo and QJo. The shape of the addition matters more than its size. MP is picking up hands that flop well and play well in position after the raise, not weaker copies of the offsuit hands UTG already opens.

MP opens 17.2% of hands (228 of 1326 combos).
