UTG opening range chart
UTG opens 176 of the 1326 possible starting hands, 13.3%, the tightest of the five charts because at a six-handed table five players are still left to act behind it. It is built from pairs 77 and up, suited broadways and near-broadways such as T9s and QJs, and only the strongest offsuit combinations: AJo, AQo, AKo, KJo and KQo. The weakest suited ace UTG opens is A6s; A5s folds, along with every other suited ace below it. There is no room for speculative hands with a full table still to act, so the range is built almost entirely from cards that hold up against a three-bet.
UTG opens 13.3% of hands (176 of 1326 combos).
