Fifteen big blinds is the conventional upper boundary of push/fold, and the reason is visible in the numbers: the shove is risking fifteen to win about one and a half, so the hands that still qualify are ones with genuine equity when called rather than ones relying on folds. Treat this chart as the edge of the tool, not the middle of it.

These ranges are solved here rather than copied from a published chart. The solver uses the exact all-in equity of every pair of hands rather than a simulation, and the solved ranges are checked so that neither player could gain as much as a hundredth of a big blind by playing any single hand differently. Hands on the edge of a range are close to break-even either way, so they are where charts from different solvers most often disagree, and where a small difference costs least.
