Poker Challenges vs GTO Wizard
The largest solved-solution library, with a trainer attached. Far broader than we are, and far more expensive.
GTO Wizard is a browser-based study platform built on a very large library of presolved postflop solutions, covering cash games, tournaments and ICM. It has a trainer that plays hands against you, one-click hand history analysis, and, on its top tier, custom solving. It is the broadest tool compared here by some distance, and it is aimed at players studying whole postflop game trees rather than a single preflop decision.
Where GTO Wizard is better than us
- A presolved library in the millions of spots, covering full postflop play across cash, tournaments and ICM. This is a different order of magnitude from anything we hold, and it is the reason people pay for it.
- Its trainer plays out whole hands against solver strategy, across the full game tree. Ours asks single-decision questions and scores them.
- Hand history import and one-click analysis against solver output, which we do not have.
- Multiway pot solving and custom solving on the top tier, plus a separate Pot Limit Omaha product. We are Hold'em only and heads-up preflop only.
Where we differ
- Our drills are free with no cap and no account. GTO Wizard's free tier is five trainer hands a day, which is not enough repetition to make anything automatic.
- We cover one narrow thing, preflop ICM and push/fold, and try to make it stick. GTO Wizard covers most of poker, which is a strength if that is what you need and an expensive irrelevance if it is not.

A genuine free tier that does not ask for a card, but it is tightly capped: one postflop spot and five trainer hands a day.
We are not quoting per-tier Hold'em prices, because we could not verify them. GTO Wizard puts its subscription page behind a login, and we will not publish a price we have not read from the vendor's own page. For scale: the company's own announcement of 31 March 2026 puts its top Ultra tier at $279 a month, or $229 a month billed annually, and says Premium and Elite rose by 8 to 15 per cent at the same time. Check their site for current figures before subscribing.

Verdict
If you are working on postflop play, or want your own hands analysed against a solver, GTO Wizard does things no free drill trainer can. If your leak is specifically bubble and short-stack decisions, it is a lot of money and a lot of surface area for one narrow problem. Drill the narrow problem here first; it costs nothing to find out whether that was the leak.
